Obituary of Emma Agnes Plevier

Emma Agnes (Phillips) Plevier, age 91, died Monday, February 23, 2009 in Manahawkin. Mrs. Plevier was born August 21, 1917 in Bridgeport, CT the daughter of the late Samuel and the late Lena (Schmidt) Phillips. She lived in Manahawkin and was formerly of Paterson and Wayne. She was employed by United Instant Coffee Corp. in Paterson as a packer. Mrs. Plevier was a member of the Bayside Chapel in Barnegat. She is survived by her loving children, Fenna Breslin and Barbara and her husband Michael Minetti, her devoted grandchildren, Lisa and her husband Eric Rosenberry; Christopher Minetti; Laura Minetti; Jacqueline and her husband George Moorhead; Judith and her husband Ronald Hickerson; Dawn and her husband James Lynch and Renee Breslin; her cherished great grandchildren, Jonathan Bonney; Brittany Bonney; Rebecca and her husband Phillip Geiser; Sarah and her husband Steve Phillips; Jackie Hickman; Patrick and his wife Lisa Hickerson; Chelsea Lynch and Kellie Lynch; and great great-grandchildren, Jayden Hickman; Hannah and Stewart Geiser and Zachary Phillips; her dear sisters, Lena Cortese and Alice Ciarlo and brothers James and his wife Marie Phillips and George and his wife Alicia Phillips. Mrs. Plevier was predeceased by her beloved husband William and her loving daughter Shirley Plevier, both in 1973 and her siblings, Samuel Phillips, Peggy Cattaneo and Harry Phillips. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Pastor Joseph Faraldi. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa. Memorial donations may be made to the Bayside Chapel Building Fund, 965 W.
