Moore’s Home For Funerals offers a variety of reception rooms; each decorated to maintain the comfortable home-like feel of our entire funeral home. From our recently remodeled entrance foyer to our child activity center, each area is designed to make you and your guests feel as comfortable as possible. Throughout the building you will find bits of our family history in photographs, records, and service awards - all of which reflect our commitment to our community and the families we serve. Our “Home” for funerals is smoke free and open every day for you to stop by and visit when considering your selection of a funeral home.

There are three different rooms on our main floor each designed for a different sized gathering. Our Cameo Room seats about 30 guests and is perfect for private family funerals or a small family gathering. It also features an attached family room for personal belongings, sleeping children or private conversation. Our Blue Room seats about 70 guests for use by the average size family. It also includes an attached private family room for your personal use. Our Rose Room can seat about 150 guests and is designed for large extended families. All of our reception rooms have space for displaying any flowers you receive in addition to comfortably seating your guests for a funeral home service. The seating areas are not fixed in any way and we are happy to arrange the furniture to reflect the way you would want the room set up. If you feel that the number of people coming to a sit down service exceeds the size of our facilities, we can always make arrangements for your service at a local house of worship or alternative setting.

Our entrance, reception rooms, family rooms, arrangement office and restroom are all barrier free on our main floor.

We encourage families to bring their children of any age to our funeral home. Death is a part of life and children should not be denied the chance to grieve the loss of their loved one (ask us for a pamphlet on this topic). However, they do not show their grief like adults and rarely can sit still for a two-hour visitation. Our response to this is our child activity center. Located steps away from the reception rooms is an area with toys, books, a coloring desk, puzzles and reading table. We have a television too for watching a favorite show. The parent reaction to this area of our home has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s not unusual to see returning children head straight to the activity area when they have been in the building before. The children can still be a welcome part of the family's funeral experience and have a place to call their own within the building. Please don’t forget to provide your adult supervision.

We offer ample on site parking in our parking areas, along with on street parking in our adjacent neighborhood.
