Obituary of Agatha (Kuhn) Demeyer

Agatha (Kuhn) Demeyer, age 76, died Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Demeyer was born September 27, 1932 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Frank and the late Selma Elfrieda (Engler) Kuhn. She lived in Wayne. She was a teacher for over 40 years retiring in 1994 from Board Of Education Wayne. Mrs. Demeyer was a parishioner of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, where she was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Amity Club. She was a longtime volunteer for the Chilton Memorial Hospital Auxillary Exchange. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Michael, three daughters: Rosemary and her husband Mike McGarrah, Linda and her husband Dirk Arrington, Elizabeth Demeyer Dransfield and her husband Mark, Michael and his wife Miggi, John and his wife Betsy and Steven and his wife Tracy, 15 grandchildren, and a brother: John Kuhn. Visiting hours Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 9:30 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
