Dear Family of Mr. Maneri,
I am so sorry for your loss. I understand how difficult losing a loved one can be. What helps me to cope is knowing the promise at Acts 24:15 that we will see our dead loved ones again. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers.

I'll miss Mr Maneri at Frank and Al's annual July picnic. Mr M had a great smile and always seemed to have something up his sleeve. I'm sure he'll give them a run for their wings in heaven! My thoughts and prayers are with Mr Maneri and his family.

There are really no words to describe how empty i feel. Growing up you were always there. You were there when i took my first steps and first talked and you were there my first day of high school. You were here for the first sixteen years of my life.I know you will be looking down upon me with grandma, nonno, and nonna hopefully with a smile on your face. Each moment we spent together
Will be special to me forever.
Some of my favorite memories were sunday dinners or my games when you were on the stands cheering me on. But i know its those memories i must hold close to my heart so that your spirit lives on. You will always hold a special place in my heart forever. I love and i miss you and nobody will ever take your place because there was simply nobody like you. RIP forever.
love Jessica

I can’t even begin to express the sadness that I feel. I never felt that this day would come, and now that it has, I can’t help but feel empty inside. You were my last surviving grandparent. Growing up I have had many, many fond memories with you and with Grandma. We all knew that your heart was broken last May, and I take comfort in the fact that now you and Grandma are reunited in Heaven with the Lord. Sundays will never be the same without you. All of us will always remember and cherish all of the memories we have from Sunday dinners, barbeques, parties, and many more. I’ll always remember Tuesday lunch with you, mom and I. I will always remember how you never missed a single one of my performances, at school, or at the church. Now you join Grandma, my Nonno and Nonna as another one of my guardian angels in Heaven. I am truly blessed to be able to call you “grandpa”
"Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let perpetual light
shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen"
I love you Grandpa, and I miss you with all my heart.

There are no words to describe how empty I feel. You have been there for me for sixteen years of my life. I know now that even though you are gone you will still be looking down upon me with grandma, nonno, and nonna and hopefully will be smiling. Knowing that you wont be two blocks away from me anymore is the worst feeling ever. I'm gonna miss sunday dinners and you telling me and steve not to pick on chris. I think one thing i will miss most of all is you not being there when i play softball. I always loved when you were in the stands cheering me on. But i know now that i must hold those memories tight because its those memories that will help keep your spirit alive. I love and i miss you grandpa and you will hold a very special place in my heart forever.

Where do I begin? Having spent so much time at the Maneri house over the years, I have so many, fond memories. The wine decanter on the table for lunch; Mr. Maneri presenting me with two trophies over the years for the science fairs at OLMV which the Holy Name Society sponsored...and always with a nice speech about the path that I had worn between my house and his house because my best friend lived there; countless morning rides to ICHS where we chatted about this and that; the best service in the world at the Garfield Post Office because I knew him; looking up to him as a model lector at OLMV; emailing with him on occasion over the last few years starting with a brunch sponsored by ICHS that he and Nancy wanted to attend in my honor...the list goes on and on. Suffice it to say that Mr. Maneri had a significant and positive impact on my life as a child and even into adulthood. He made me feel good and was one of my "fans", as most of our parents are for us "kids". My prayer is that he knows I was just as much a fan of his as I suspect he may have been of mine. Eternal rest grant unto you, dear Mr. Maneri, oh Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon you. Rest in peace. May your soul and all the souls (Mrs. Maneri and my dad's and Babe's) of the dear faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

I became aquainted with Mr Maneri through his son Frank and partner Al.
Mr Maneri was always a pleasure to talk with. He exemplified love, tolerance, humor and dedication. This was so evident as he cared for his lovely wife Dorothy.
As a WWII Navy vet who served his country proudly I give a sharp hand salute.
RIP Mr Maneri.
You and Dorothy are united once again.

Dear Dad, I really still cannot believe that you are not here any longer. I still feel like I am going to jump in the car,go around the corner, open your door and find you on the couch watching TV. I will miss our Saturday morning Dunkin Donuts together and the lunches at Charlie Brown and Red Lobster!I know that you are finally reunited with mom and that gives me comfort. I hope that you and mom and Gene's parents will keep watch over Steven,Jess and Chris as they go thru their lives. They now have 4 guardian angels in heaven! I love you and will miss you.
Your daughter always,Nancy

How to put into words the pieces of a broken heart?
You are the father I wish I've had.
Even now I smile as I remember you saying, "I've got a job for you Mr. Al."
You have truly touched everyone around you and this world is a much sadder place without your wit and smile.
Your children and grand-children were truly blessed to have your unconditional love and support.
Heaven rejoices at your reunion with your beloved wife.
I love you for always.
Thank you for the love you gave.

I've known Mr. Maneri quite a number of years and always enjoyed talking with him. We would talk about his wife, Dorothy, and he would tell me how much he missed her and how wonderful his children and grandchildren are. He was a very nice person and it was a shock to hear of his passing. I was hoping to see him again before the winter time but I guess not. He will now be reunited with his wife. May he rest in peace.
