My earliest memory of "Uncle Chuck" was coming to the Thomas home after church with my dad on Sunday when I was a little girl. Such a wonderful, loving home filled with love and peace.
The legacies passed on by Charles Thomas, Harry Jefferies, Bill Jefferies, Bob Jefferies are legacies of characters built by God. Men, an honor just to know, let alone to have as a relatives.
Charles Thomas, always there for his family. Helping my Dad when he needed help. Always there for friends, strangers, fellow believers. Building churches, houses, schools. Charles Thomas was always available to be used as a servent for the Lord, using all of his gifts and talents and never complaining. He was a giant of a man in spirit, in character, in honesty, in faith, in love, in hope. I know "Our Lord and Savior is saying"...."JOB WELL DONE CHARLES, MY SON...WELCOME TO HEAVEN!"
Plus, I have to say, there is going to be a day when we are all going to have one great family reunion!
