I was very sorry to learn of Jane's passing - I had heard about it at Sunday's Church Service (Dec. 30).
Jane has a very special place in my heart - I knew her as a very kind, generous and thoughtful person with a good sense of humor and an infectious laugh. I was blessed to have known her. She will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family - family was always number one.

How lucky was I as an awkward 13 year old to meet on my first day at prep school none other than Lois and Jane. Lois was moving in to the dorm and Jane was "directing the effort". Jane was so amazing, laughing and talking about Walkers and how Lo and I were destined to be good friends. That meeting was the start of a long frienship, many trips to the wonderful lake home, Lois's wedding after the hurricane, the always fabulous meals and wonderful stories. My family knew that we were always welcome in Jane's home. We will hold a special place in our hearts for Jane. Love, Johanna Hunter, Dave, Marissa and Jamie Potter

Loving my Aunt Jane was easy given her gentle and fun-loving nature and her interest in and devotion to our family. She made EVERYTHING fun. Over the years, I have looked forward to our conversations and visits to the Lake. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble if it made for more fun. I am remembering her stealthfully secreting photo albums around in her walker as Cyndie prepared a video for her cousin Ruthie and Dick's 50th Anniversary. She comes from a longline of fun-lovers and has passed that on to each of us whose lives she touched. She and her 'Sister' Ruthie are together again, and I'm sure Heaven shines more brightly as they regale 'old' family with accounts of the years gone by. If Heaven wasn't a fun place, it will be now. God has called some real winners home.
For love of family,
Randi
