Unfortunately I am writing this many years after Helen passed, but did not have the opportunity to attend her funeral or share condolences at the time. Helen, was the adopted grandmother I never had as a toddler before I moved to the UK. To my mother and I, we knew her as “Hally”. To me she was known as “Grandma Hally”. Hally’s kindness and generosity to my mother and I will never be forgotten.
