Dear family! What is the present for me is the past for you. I knew I had family members in the US, but I didn't know who they were. Mom told me about Fanny and her daughters (Sylvia and Alma) who, decades ago, when I wasn't even alive, corresponded with my grandfather and helped him. I would have liked to have a word or two with them, but I didn't know exactly where they lived. I didn't even know their full names. Then, recently, my grandfather's old box came into my hands and it contained old letters from America. That's how I got to my old relatives and that's how I found this website. I'm late, I'm so sorry. Dear Alma's family, for me Alma was born and died now, it's a strange feeling. I share your grief and wish you a whole and happy life, wherever you are.
