Anthony Simone is my Uncle and my godfather and forever will be. My memories of Unc, as we affectionately call him are brimming with love and laughter. From the time I was a small child I always thought of him as my cool relative. As I grew so did my connection with him and we became friends. Mostly our relationship was a constant exchange of sarcastic banter and practical jokes. He was the straight man to my ludicrous sense of juvenile humor and I loved every minute of it. Our silly interactions always made me laugh and seemed to entertain others as well. My Aunt Susan was ceaselessly amused while I relentlessly harassed Unc. I can’t imagine a family picnic or Thanksgiving dinner without our hi-jinx. Our lives have all been enriched by his joyful spirit. He will certainly be missed and always be remembered fondly. My heart is forever with Unc as I loved him like no other. I keep his family in my prayers always. With Heart, Michelle Thomas
