Ellen & Buddy,
It has been a long time since I have seen your Mom, but I also have fond memories. I can still see her sitting on her lounge chair under the big tree. My Mom did see your Mother last year when she was in the Wayne Nursing Home. I was happy that my Mom knew somebody else there. So, speaking for the Barker Family, we are all so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Buddy, Ellen and family,
Words can not fill the void which enter our collective lives with your Mon's passing. Aunt Ellie's caring, gentle and generous nature fill our live with warmth and love. She enriched my life in many ways, as well as the lives of all those who had the good fortune to know her. Fond memories of my visists up the hill are many, they will help heal the sense of loss. Your Mom, "my favorite auntwas a wonderful person, she will be with me in heart and memory always. Thinking back, funny how it was never "I'm going up to Aunt Ellie's or Uncle Matt's", but just "I'm going up the hill". No other explanation was needed, everyone know it meant we were going somewhere warm and safe.
Love Henry

I can't say enough good things about my Aunt Ellie. She was my Mom's sister-in-law and a nurse, and in that capacity, she helped to bring me and my twin brother, David into this world to join our older brother, Henry. I think he was her favorite and vice versa. Sibling rivalries aside, we all loved Aunt Ellie and Uncle Matt and we miss them.
What I remember most about Aunt Ellie is that she never had an unkind word to say about anyone...even if they deserved it...and more importantly, NO one could ever say anything bad about her. She loved her children and grandchildren unconditionally and they returned her love. She has her place in Heaven and we know she continues to love from there.
PS. You had really good hair Aunt Ellie!
Love, "Betsy"

Eleanor Klein was a soft spoken, kind and sweet woman.
She and my mom enjoyed a nice friendship when we were young kids. We met through youth sports and our lives have been intertwined ever since.

So many heartfelt memories of "Mrs. Klein" being a caring, neighborhood mom. From chocolate milk and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to a magical remedy for bee stings, as well as the love she shared with so many PCC children, "Mrs. Klein" is remembered.

Dear Buddy, Ellen and family,
We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Aunt Eleanor. Your Mom was truly one of the nicest people to have ever come into our lives. She had a gentleness of spirit and warmth that radiated to all those around her. We hold very fond memories of our visits "up the hill" for Christmas dinners, birthdays, etc. It was always a warm, welcome place to be! May you take comfort in knowing that your Mom touched many lives and made the world a better place for us just by being the person she was. She will be missed!
Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love,
Dave and Karen and Sandy
