Obituary of Albert J. Wedlake

Albert J. Wedlake, Jr., age 93, died Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. Mr. Wedlake was born October 27, 1913 in Paterson, the son of the late Albert J. and the late Patricia (Worrall) Wedlake, Sr. He lived in Totowa most of his life before moving to Englewood, FL. He was the owner of Accadia Wedlake Upholstery Shop in Totowa for over 20 years. Mr. Wedlake was a member of the Masonic Lodge #154, the Englewood Elks #2378 and the Englewood Flotilla #87 Coast Guard Auxiliary. He was also a volunteer Fireman in Totowa and active with Boy Scouts of America in NJ. He is survived by his wife, Alice Elizabeth Sharpe, daughter, Alice Jane Loewrigkeit of Shohola, PA, son, James Wedlake, grandchildren, Ingrid, Kirsten, Caryn and Brian and 7 great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be Sunday at 12:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, 329 Totowa Avenue (at Grant Avenue), Totowa and will be celebrated by Rev. Mark Waldon.
