My deepest condolences. My mom gave me your funeral card when I had about 9 months in AA. It has meant a lot to me and I keep it with me to this day. My mom was your cousin Suzanne Francis of Madison.

In memory of Dave on Wednesday, I told the story about our trip to the Grand Canyon. My Toastmaster Group wants me to enter it in the humorous contest. In memory of Dave, I'm seriously considering it. It's the good times that you can not erase from our memory. I can still hear his booming voice when he told me what to do.
Words are inadequate to describe the empty space in our lives, he will always remain in our memories and heart.
Sincerely, Carol Stark</b></font><br><br>

My husband Dave quietly gave up his battle on Saturday morning. He was pronounced dead at 9:05 AM on February 26, 2005, just four months short of our sixth wedding anniversary and a little less than two months short of the 19th anniversary of the day we met (Yes, we celebrated it every year!).
I believe that Dave knew that this was as good as it was going to get after the massive stroke he suffered on 01/13/05(he could only move his right hand and arm), and he did not want to continue that way.
Although he did not think so, he left this world a better place for a lot of people, and he will be missed by them.
He overcame a brainstem stroke in 2001. He surprised a lot of people with his tenacity, but not me. Although he fought hard, this last stroke was not meant to be overcome.
He was a very special man, and will be missed by many, especially all those he helped. God Rest His Soul.
I miss you sweatheart.</b></font><br><br>
