Obituary of Gerard Weindorf

Gerard Weindorf, age 60, died Sunday, January 2, 2005 at home in Stockholm. Mr. Weindorf was born June 1, 1944 in Bronx, NY the son of the late Philip and the late Mary (Leyden) Weindorf. He served in the Navy . He was employed by NYC Board Of Education where he was Elevator Mechanic for 18 years before retiring. Mr. Weindorf was a member of St. John Vianny R.C. Church in Stockholm and TheTeamsters Local #237 NY,NY. He is survived by his wife the former: Joan Maes, two daughters: Kristen of Stockholm, Jane of St. Albans, NY, two sons: Matthew of Tampa, FL, Philip of Stockholm, five sisters: Joan Sodickson of Paramus, Mary Haughton of Twin Rivers, Marcella Tierney of Closter, Virginia Casey of Waldwick, Ernestine Weindorf of Dumont, two brothers: Philip of Dumont and Laurence Weindorf of Tampa, FL . Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 AM at Annunciation Church, 500 West Midland Ave, Paramus where a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated by Fr. Matt Twiggs. Burial will be in Christ The King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
