To Dr. Chao's Family:
I know! I just found this, as Dr. Chao has been on my mind lately. My heartfelt condolences. Dr. Chao was my Anthropology professor at William Paterson COLLEGE (back in those days) in the early '70's. I have never forgotten him, as he encouraged me to obtain a Master's degree. He even offered to write letters of commendation for me to University in upstate NY. I had many meetings with him in his office whereupon he would always slip a 20 dollar bill in my purse when I wasn't looking. He also had me write a paper which eventually was published.
Dear Dr. Chao! I shall never forget him. It's been almost 50 years and he was, and shall remain, a pivotal influence in my life. Regards, Jenny
