Obituary of Regina Mary Josephs

Regina Mary (DAmelio) Josephs, age 74, of Paterson died Monday, March 15, 2004 at Hospice Of New Jersey, Wayne. Mrs. Josephs was born August 28, 1929 in Queens, NY the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Mary (Rusciano) DAmelio. She lived in Paterson all of her life. She married John M. Josephs,Sr. November 4, 1950 at St. Marys RC Church in Paterson. She was a dental hygienist for 25 years with Dr Roland Pasquariello in Paterson, NJ retiring in 1995. Mrs. Josephs was a member of St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, Paterson, and the Rosary Altar Society. She was on the Cana & Pre Cana Conference Committee for many years. Previously, she was a banquet waitress at the Casino de Charles in Totowa and was an Infant Technician at St. Vincent's Hospital in Montclair. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: John M. Josephs,Sr., three daughters: Kath Opdencamp of Prospect Park, Pat Moore of Wayne, Lynn Corbo of Wayne, three sons: John, Jr. of Bloomingdale, Jim of Wayne, and Michael P. of North Haledon. 12 Grandchildren: Jenna and her husband Brian Sasso, Lea Opdencamp, Sandy Josephs, Raymond Corbo, Jr.; James Josephs, Gina Corbo, Amy Corbo, Michael F. Josephs, Robert C. Moore,V, Michael V. Josephs and Christine Josephs, and a great-granddaughter, Isabella Regina Sasso. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Help Of Christians R. C. Church, 410 Union Ave, Paterson where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph G. Buffardi. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa .
