Dear Grandma,
Why were you following my Dad? He kept telling me he would see your face & you'd disappear. He told me a week before he had his aneurysm he saw you again at Greystone where he worked & thought you were looking for you Mother. But he also told that he couldn't look at you for too long because was VERY scared this time when he saw you. Is this why? I asked him if he saw you when he could only squeeze my hand to communicate at the hospital & he squeezed harder than ever. I also played, "In The Windmills of Your Mind" by Vanilla Fudge in the hospital for him which is a song he showed you when he was young & he said you loved it. When he was still responding well he squeezed my hand real hard & he made this face as if he were totally sad. He really missed you & loved you, but I really think I needed him more than you do...

Hey Grandma,
As you probably saw while you were looking down upon us, today was a complete disaster. My Daddy was sick today & it was really scary. I took matters into my own hands & he is feeling much better. At the end of the day he told me I reminded him of you, whenever you used to take care of him when he was sick. I just wanted to let you know. I love you & I hope that no matter what you are still proud of me, just like you said before you left us. I am so proud to have your blood & to be your Granddaughter.
Love Forever,
Sandy

Momma, I miss you more than I knew I would. I thank God that I know I will see you again someday and that I was very fortunate to have a wonderful mother like you. You taught me so many things and mostly how to be a good mom. I know I'm not half the mom you were but I learned how to love and be loving from you. I want everyone to know that I beleive the best compliment I can receive is when someone says that I remind them of you. xoxoxox

Hey Mom,
I love you very much, & always will. You were always there for me. You were at all of my Graduations, including my Local 68 Journeyman's Graduation. In 1993. I remember in 1958 when I tried to baby-sit for Pat in the yard. You always showed me that responsibility is very important & even then you had confidence in me. I learned so much about life from you, Mom. I love you.
Love,
Johnny

When I was pregnant with Sandy, I was really afraid to go to the Doctor's. To this day, I still do not like to go to the Doctor's office. Regina told me there was nothing to be afraid of. She would take me to the Doctor's & even take me out to Lunch afterwards. That is something I will always remember fondly about her. My Mom died when I was 3 years old so it was like she was sort of filling in & being a Mom to me.
Something else I will never forget is how Grandma Jean & Grandpa John always came to support Sandy at piano performances, recitals, & theater. They always recognized her talent. It may not seem like much to you, but it meant the world to me & still does. They were always to be counted on. Jean would always baby-sit for me also. It was always nice to leave your daughter with someone you could trust. Thanks Grandma Jean.
Sincerely,
Barbara Josephs, Daughter-in-law

I love you so much and I am going to miss you even more- I know you are in a better place now and looking down on us. I have so many wonderful memories with you I cant even begin to write them all. Some that I cherish the most are the mini vacations with both you and grandpa- such as Hershey Park and the dinosaur park.
Please take care of my daddy, and let him know what a beautiful granddaughter he has. Isabella Regina has both of your deep blue eyes and I will think of you every time I look into them.
