Obituary of Charles A. Barg

Charles A. Barg, age 87, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at Newton Medical Center, Newton. Mr. Barg was born February 6, 1925 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late William F. and the late Eleanor (Shalack) Barg. He lived in Hardwick and was formerly of Linden, East Brunswick and Wayne. Mr. Barg served in the US Army during World War II. He earned a B.S. from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and was employed by GAF Materials Corp, Wayne, as a Chemical Engineer for over 30 years before retiring. Mr. Barg was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne. He is survived by his son: James M. Barg, a brother: Raymond Barg, his sister in law, Elsie Barg and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Hope Ann (Klymko) in 1996. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. The funeral Mass will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne and will be celebrated by Msgr. Peter J. Doody.
