I had the good fortune to get to know Lou as a teenager and his friendly manner and advise helped and encouraged me into police work. I then had the privilege of working with him for many years. A very fine man and fine officer. My deepest sympathies to his entire family Ed Solesky, Dep. Chief, RET.

I remember Lou very well great Guy always enjoyed coming to the N.J.H.L. meetings during my Presidency, sitting at my table with all the guys and my friends. He will be missed One hell of a Cop Rest in Peace

I worked with Lou in the sixties and seventies. He was also one of our best neighbors in Paterson. My parents thought very higly of him....he was a hard worker and a true friend...I cherish and appreciate his sage advise to continue my education and his life long friendship. He pushed me to study for the sgt's exam which I did. Lou also looked after us rookies and we learned from him how to stay safe on the streets. Our sincerest condolances to his family.
