Obituary of Harold W. Laauwe, Jr.

Harold W. Laauwe, Jr., age 70, of Wayne died Sunday, September 22, 2002 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Laauwe, Jr. was born December 17, 1931 in Paterson, NJ the son of the late Harold W. ( The 1ST Mayor of Wayne) and the late Florence (Van Orden) Laauwe, He was the owner/operator of the The Cider Mill Restaurant, Berdan Avenue Wayne,NJ for 30 years retiring in 1987. He attended the Preakness Reformed Church, Wayne. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 88, Pompton Lakes. He is survived by two daughters: Nancy Laauwe-Pera of Chestnut Ridge, NY and Barbara Laauwe of Jefferson, NJ, and 2 grandsons : David & Dylan Pera. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9PM at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne, NJ. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:30 at Moore's Home For Funerals, 1591 Alps Rd., Wayne with Rev. Dennis L. Te Beest officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa on Thursday at 11:15 am.
