I am so sorry for the loss of Richard. He was one of my longest friends in the Dry Clean Industry he and I always keep InTouch. We had a lot in common as my father was a cleaner. I talked to him around February. I lost a great friend and the DC Industry lost a leader, He will be missed and never forgotten. Rest in Peace my friend keep the angle wings bright and white. Until we see each other again.

From all at District Cleaners Equipment Inc.
We are all shocked and saddened to hear about Richard’s passing. He and we shared rewarding thirty years together as business partners and became as close as brothers. All experiences with Richard through the years have been joyful. Together we learned about human nature, suffered some setbacks, and more than once helped each other get back up again. He never would let us fail. He was a great friend and an industry leader. He was among the very best we have known and his value to us as an adviser far exceeded his expertise as a consultant. We will miss him ! Our thoughts and prayers to his wonderful family !

I worked with Richard in and around the Dry Cleaning Industry for over 30 years. You cold not find a kinder more compassionate gentleman. You always knew that you were dealing with the truth when talking to Richard. In this world today that is a very rare quality.
Richard left behind so many good thoughts. I will always keep those in my memory.
To his family, you will always have him in your hearts and although he is no longer here the world was a better place because of him. Kindness and Compassion, It is all any of us can try to emulate. I know he tried every single day.

Rich was one of the best and brightest roll models anyone can ask for. We were honored to have known him and worked with him on so many projects at OLC Parish (His second home). Never did I see him without a smile on his face. The world was a great place with Richard in it. Thank you so much for having such a kind heart. God Bless you and your entire family. Deepest Condolences. Jenn & Joe Vena

A nicer, more caring man, no one will find. His life was filled with compassion and service to his community. As I'm certain it will be mentioned many times, as he joins his deceased family and friends at his final reward, "Well done, good and faithful servant". Rest in peace Rich

Karen, Matthew, Melanie and Alyssa,
Life teaches us so much and over the years. I have treasured many memories of not only working with Richard but how he interacted with people. He always greeted everyone with a handshake and smile and took time to learn their names and make them feel important. I will never forget our trip to Toronto to resolve a problem I could not solve. After he found the problem, he told the customer I had solved it and gave me credit. Good management skill that I hopefully have passed on.
Karen, I will always remember the Korean Christmas party with the Korean Rock band in Maryland. I remember him saying, “we are going to pay for this for a long time”. I still laugh when thinking about it.
Matthew, remember going to opening day in 1997 and the chant from the Bleacher Creatures?
Thanks Richard. You were and will always be one of my mentors.

Richard was a treasured member of the Social Justice Ministry of OLC. He participated in all our projects across the spectrum of services to the community. He cooked at our semi annual trips to Eva’s Kitchen; he built houses with Habitat; and collected groceries, snacks, food cards, and school supplies whenever a volunteer was needed. He always offered a bright smile, ready hand, sage counsel and calming humor in all SJ ministry endeavors. I’ll treasure his kindness and memories always. He is much loved and will be greatly missed. Sending love and condolences, Rich & Jackie
