I met Jack at the gym, where my daughter, Doreen Mahon, goes daily. That was a few years ago but he did impress me with his knowledge and welcome smile.
His son would drive him there and he exercised his mind and voice more than physical. He was an amazing man. May he rest in peace

So saddened to hear of the passing of Jack. He was such a wonderful person with the most positive attitude about life. I will always remember his boisterous laugh at our volleyball games. Whenever I get a bit down I think of Jack saying-“Life is great”. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know him

My Dad was so much more than words could ever capture. He gave us the gifts of knowledge, stability, unconditional love, strength, understanding, quality time, and so much more. We were raised with a strong foundation in the Catholic faith. This has helped us cope with life’s challenges, treat all with respect and love, and know God’s grace. He taught us the value of a dollar and a strong work ethic to earn it. He showed us how important it was to spend time with those we love and create beautiful memories. He gave us a second home in Bolton Landing (built with his brother and father) for generations to enjoy the serenity of Lake George living. My Dad always knew the perfect thing to say and always saw the bright side. He has touched so many hearts in so many elements of his life. All of my close friends and those close friends of my siblings were welcomed into his home and his life as his own growing up and those relationships are still strong in our lives today. Our significant others became his “other 6 children” and he was so proud to announce how many grandchildren he has. He was always there for soccer games, swim meets, graduations, band events, religious events, fundraisers, concerts, plays, weddings, and more showing his support and love. My Mom says “he is perfect, perfect for me”. Dad has made such an impact on this earth that when he traveled he would find someone he knew or became someone’s friend while he was there. Always a giving, kind, humble, dedicated, loving man. The most amazing Father we are all blessed to have watch over us.
“Life is Good, God is great”

I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. He was just a wonderful man. Not only did I work with him at Wayne Valley, but later in life became friends as he attended all the patriotic programs at PCTI. So many times, he offered encouraging words and support to the students. They loved him. He truly will be missed by all of us.

We were both teachers in the Wayne School system & knew Jack very well. He was a great guy that we were very fond of. Our most special memories we have of Jack are of the many years we skied & dined together on the Friday night ski program...they were good times! Our deepest condolences to the Pricken family.

I was a colleague of Jack’s at Wayne Valley High School. Jack was a wonderfully kind and caring person with an infectious smile. He was always there to lend a helping hand and offer a shoulder to lean on if I was not having a great day.
He was an excellent teacher and his students were given an excellent math education.
May you be resting in peace Jack. I was privileged to
have you as a colleague and friend.
