To my darling husband,
Ed, even though you are no longer here with me, you will never be apart from me. Here is a song for you: "You belong to my heart now and forever..." Miles and miles cannot keep us apart. Darling you are the one I was happy to marry. I shall always remember that day, and you will always be in my heart.
Love,
Dee

Mr. Fritz finished his History lesson and with only minutes remaining gave the students permission to talk if they cared to -- just keep it to a low roar... when the bell rang I was first one out the door... into the pandemonium erupting up and down the hallways of Anthony Wayne Jr HS... nearly every girl was crying and my English teacher, Miss Ferrara, she was in hysterics. Johnny we hardly knew ye. Wimoweh / The Lion Sleeps Tonight, The Beatles, Sam Ciresi's goatee, Miss Falco's black GP, coalminer's Son Billy Ginter's Office, Joseph Hannon, Mrs. Allison, Mrs. Murchio... all coloured the best years of my Life. I still remember the black shoes he wore in 1963, very ergonomic & comfortable, I'm sure. Hollywood made a film "To Sir With Love" back then... I remember the song but I never went to see the movie. Why?... because actors are only acting, they're amateurs at teaching. Mr. Fritz, as the saying goes -- was the REAL DEAL. Honest, clean cut, squared away, fair-minded, didn't play favourites... Yes, Mr. Fritz TAUGHT and his students LEARNED (I know I did)... that is the hallmark of an outstanding teacher! I would see Mr. Fritz around Wayne and we'd talk a while, he was always in good spirits and smiling jolly. It's nice to know he had a long, full, happy Life. I was lucky to have a Teacher like Mr. Edward Fritz and I wish there were more like him, I believe that's what America really needs today. Thank you, Mr. Fritz for a job well done! <I> My sincere condolences to the Fritz Family.
GOD BLESS YOU + REST IN PEACE

My deepest condolences to the Fritz family. My thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Fritz and his family.
I have fond childhood memories of Mr. Fritz and spending time at his house with his son and childhood life long friend playing with Mr. Fritz's train set. I remember him well showing Eddie and I how all the switches worked and him running the trains for us. I think this is where I got my train bug from and I now enjoy share my love with trains with my son.
As children, we were also memorized every time Mr.Fritz would entertain us and play his Wurlitzer Organ. I remember seeing him perform live as well. I moved and spent 25yrs living in Arizona which is home to the world's largest Wurlitzer Organ. Every time I visited I couldn't hep but think of my childhood memories with Eddie and Mr Fritz and how much they love to see this organ.
Mr. Fritz was always welcoming and inviting. One of my greatest memories is the time Mr. Fritz invited my family to join his on his boat. He took us for a boat ride up the Hudson River to West Point and back.
The last time I saw Mr. Fritz was at my mother's funeral. It was here I learned that Mr. Fritz and my Uncle Allen Buff where former childhood classmates. And the two of them recalled doing a class project together.
Amazing to think that we ended up being neighbors in NJ and Mr. Fritz's son Eddie and I would being classmates, ending up being in a play together and now lifelong friends!
God Bless Mr. Fritz and I'm sure you are in good company in heaven playing the organ with my mother and Uncle Allen.....
