Obituary of Ellen Albrecht

Ellen (Kerkhoff) Albrecht, age 76, longtime resident of Bedminster died on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Mountainside Hospital in Glen Ridge. Ellen was born May 17, 1936 in Atlanta GA, the daughter of the late Theodore and the late Gertrude (Williams) Kerkhoff. She moved to New Jersey as a young girl and graduated from Batten High School. She also resided in Garwood, Convent Station, and Basking Ridge, before settling in Bedminster in 1990. Ellen loved the theater, (particularly Broadway), movies, fine dining, music, and the arts. Most of all, she loved her family and friends. She was an avid traveler, and resided in Caracas, Venezuela in the late 1970's and also worked as a travel agent for many years. Ms. Albrecht was the beloved mother of Christopher and his wife Alison Evans, and Michele and her husband Michael Buchanan; devoted grandmother of Andrew, Douglas and Caroline Evans and Ian and Julia Buchanan; dear sister of Shirley and her husband Frank Kirkleski and loving aunt of Jon Kirkleski and Robin Florio. She was predeceased by her husbands Mark Evans; and Victor Albrecht. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial Mass at on October 8, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. St. Elizabeth R.C.
