“Dear Edna
I’m sure Dorothy was one of the ladies I
used to give Holy Communion to when
I visited the Nursing Home each month.
So sorry for your loss. No one should have to die this way. I will be praying for her and her friends at Llandfair.
May she Rest In Peace Amen.”

Dear Edna: My sincere condolences to you on the passing of your dear cousin Dorothy. That was a beautifully written obituary for Dorothy and although not knowing her, I feel like I do now. May she rest in peace in the arms of Jesus and be so happy to see her parents again. May the God of all Comfort, comfort you in knowing this. What a blessing to have you for her cousin; you took good care of her these past six years. May her Memory be Eternal. RIP Dorothy Bernie Saoud

Rest in Peace "Aunt" Dorothy, our cousin. I will always remember walking home from school and seeing your green Nova parked at the front of my house in Fair Lawn - and you would have to get "back on the road to Paterson" about 3 miles away by 4pm to beat traffic. God Bless You now and forever.

Dear Edna,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your dear cousin, Dorothy. As the Volunteer Advocate at Llanfair House for the past eight years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Dorothy. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Dorothy and loved to listen to her stories about her childhood in Paterson, a city she adored. I knew Dorothy was a skilled, award-winning fly-fisher but I didn’t know that her trophies were on display at a museum! How extraordinary!
Over the past several years, Dorothy would tell me that she missed her mother and father, family and friends, and that she was ready to go home. I’ll miss Dorothy, and her sweet smile, but take comfort in knowing she’s been reunited with those she loves and is at peace.
Sincerely,
Eileen Comerford

Dear Eileen, Thank you for your heart-warming remembrance. I, too, had the pleasure of meeting you a few years back @ Llanfair. It's memorable because of your familiar last name & friendly manner. Keep up your benevolent visits. Dorothy will be missed, especially by her housemates. I know she'll go straight to heaven to be with Aunt Emma & Uncle Archie. Thank you, Eileen
