I still can’t believe I won’t be seeing you over the side fence anymore. Who am I going to banter with about vegetable gardens? Who’s going to cheerfully give me a ride to the mechanic?
In your memory, my family is going to plant the biggest tomato next year, for the most awesome tomato sandwich. Rest easy big guy ☹️

I knew Jim from Paramus High School. He was an all around great guy. Had a lot of laughs with him back then. Since then i hadn’t seen Jim till a couple yrs ago at a mini high school reunion held at a restaurant/bar. He walked in with his good friend Phil Taylor who i also knew but at first i didn’t recognize Jim, when i did i almost fell off my chair. Jim broke out laughing. Was so good to see him. He really impacted a lot of peoples lives. My condolences to his family and friends.

Thank you Jim for for teaching me that men can be beautifully and gracefully vulnerable. You demonstrated a true open heart and your inner light has touched many and that will “Shine On You Crazy Diamond.”
Thank for introducing me to Robert Frost “It has made all the difference”

The first time I met Jim was at his sister in law ,Maria De Salvo's Birthday party. I asked Jim ,who I never met before, to take a picture of Maria and I. I asked to check the photo and see if it came out alright. I exclaimed to Jim "Omg !! i love this photo you took it makes my boobs look big...you should be a photographer" and we had a good laugh. Jim was a pure heart and will be greatly missed by all....

Jim found me in early 2019 as a vocalist. All the way in Arkansas, somehow he ended up finding my voice. He then became my mentor, producer, and taught me more about music and life in a few months than anyone has in my entire life. It’s crazy how deeply impacted I was in such a short period of time. I can’t even begin to imagine how his family, wife, and children are feeling right now. But when I describe Jim to other people, words can’t even explain how angelic of a soul he was. A true prophetic being of the music industry. He gave me belief in myself as an artist - something I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Though his earthly vessel is no longer with us, his soul and spirit are both very much alive to me. Thank you, Jim, for teaching me the most important lesson. “In every little transaction of music or creativity, in moments of full belief in yourself, always transmit it to others and especially those learning and growing and often those in awe of your talent: Give.” A blessing is an understatement. Give, give, give. I will most certainly finish what we started with music. Fly high. Xx, Ash

Jim was one of the most remarkable angelic humans I have ever had the grace to truly know. He has elevated my life in so many ways that I shall be ever grateful for. His humor alone is enough to sustain a wealth of memories. He loved being a father so much. He also adored life and celebrating his loved ones birthdays and any other opportunity to express his gifts to all of us. Our prayers go with you always until we meet again dear brother, which will seem like an instant to you in paradise.

I met Jim through his brother Jack in 1988. I remember having dinner, the three of us at an Italian restaurant in the Village. They had a brotherly camaraderie that was obviously deep, and also hilarious. Over the years I would cross paths with Jim through events put on by Jack. Then in 2013 Jack and I recorded at Bean studio for the first time. Working with Jim was the greatest pleasure! He exuded joy, humor, and warmth constantly, and was a consummate professional. When Jack and I released our second recording on Sept. 6, fate dealt a blow five days later that was unthinkable. I loved Jim. I cherished the time in his studio. He was a man with enormous energy, and huge heart and made people laugh all the time. His memory and works will live on in all of us. RIP dear brother Jim, thanks for everything. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have only slipped away to the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other,
That, we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way
which you always used.
Put no difference into your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed
at the little jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me. Pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect.
Without the trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same that it ever was.
There is absolute unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind
because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you.
For an interval.
Somewhere. Very near.
Just around the corner.
All is well.
My deepest and sincerest heartfelt condolences Cat. Both you and Jim will always be in every sense of the word a “true love story.” Love to you, Becca and James.
