The loss of Charlie is a loss for the world. He was a dedicated servant of people and the earth. He was a kind and gentle soul, something all of his Peace Corps colleagues from Niger can attest to. We'll miss you Charlie. See you on the other side.

Charlie was always welcoming to other volunteers serving in Niger. As I am from Utah his stories from his days in Logan always made the distance from home a bit easier. He was well respected and a model volunteer.

Really great memories of Charlie from Peace Corps Niger. Visited him in his village. Always had a calm demeanor, keen wit and sage advice. Huge condolences to the family.

May Charlie's memory and all that he contributed to Jamaica, Niger, the USA, NJ, and his family live on forever; indeed I know his positive contribution to many people in the world will endure for many generations to come.

I send my deepest sympathies to Charlie's family as you try to come to terms with the grief and bewilderment of losing such a wonderful person as Charlie. Charlie and I served in the Peace Corps in Niger together, and I am extremely sad that the world has lost such a kind, caring, steady, responsible, hard-working, unselfish person with such a great sense of humor and positive attitude.

I had the chance to share laughs with Charlie in PC Niger. Many of us were in awe that Niger was Charlie’s second Peace Corps assignment!! I will always remember his gentle nature and wit. My deepest sympathy to his family.
