Obituary of Ingeborg Ursula Gmelin

Ingeborg Ursula (Ehrlich) Gmelin, 94, resident of Fulshear, Texas passed away on January 27, 2019 in Houston, Texas. Ingeborg was a long-time resident of Katonah, New York and Kinnelon, New Jersey before moving to Texas seven years ago. Ingeborg was born in Germany to the late Rudolf and the late Margarete Ehrlich in 1924. She graduated from high school and then went on to bakery school. Ingeborg enjoyed many hobbies including baking, gardening, and arts and crafts. Ingeborg is survived by three beloved sons, Markus Gmelin and his wife Diane of Danbury, Ct, Wolfram Gmelin of Fulshear TX, and Reinhard Gmelin of Mableton, GA; three loving grandchildren, Steven Gmelin and his wife Elizabeth of Ridgefield, CT, Nicole Roe and her husband Andrew of Greenwich, CT, and Brian Gmelin of Norwalk, CT; and six cherished great-grandchildren, Alexis, Kimberly, Brianna, Jameson, Bennett and Spencer. Ingeborg is preceded in death by her husband Lenz W. Gmelin. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home and the service at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Rest Cemetery, Butler.
