Obituary of Richard David Eichner

Richard David Eichner, age 82, of Wayne Township passed away on  November 21, 2018.

Born in New York, New York, he was the son of late David and Charlotte Eichner.

Richard was a graduate of Bergenfield High School and was a Navy Veteran. He was employed as a sheet metal foreman at Benmar Conditionaire Corp of Clifton, NJ for 44 years until his retirement. He was a member of Calvary Temple International Assembly, Wayne, held a life love of baseball and was recognized as a Baseball Hall of Famer at Bergenfield High School. In his later years he enjoyed spending time with his family and playing cards once a week at Sienna Village.

Surviving are his beloved wife of 35 years Paulette (Manzi) Eichner; four loving daughters, Maria Helmik, Nicole and her husband Daniel Hunt, Dayna Latella, and Renee Moran; one devoted son, Craig and his wife Beverly Rufolo; eight cherished grandchildren, Cynthia and Tiffany Hunt, Ashley Latella, Fallon and Matthew Moran, and Cole, Chase, and Ceraphina Rufolo; his dear sister Charlotte Healy; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased  by his sister Dolores Golden.

Family and friends are welcome to attend the visiting on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 10 am to 11am and the service at 11 a.m.    Pastor Arthur Cook will be officiating.

Interment with military honors accorded by US Navy will follow at Redeemer Cemetery in Mahwah.
