Dear Bill, Alan and Valerie ---- I am so saddened to learn about your father's passing. My mother told me that it happened while she was visiting my brother, Guy in VA. Of course, it came as a shock. I remember being with your dad up at Army football games (back when Army was winning all the time!) Those surely were fun times! He was a wonderful PInes Lake neighbor and friend who will never be forgotten. May he rest in peace. Denise

Farewell Mr. Weber. You and I held many find conversations on the block as you made your daily walk each evening on most days. I would often see you walking around the lake on early dark mornings as I made my way off to work. I liked running into you at the shop-rite as well. I found you to be an engaging and interesting conversationalist. And willing too. Over recent time, I noticed that I didn't see you and wondered about your health. Now I know the sad truth and I am kicking myself for not being more persistent in learning what was up. I am truly sorry we never had a talk about where things were going. I will miss you, Bill. Rest easy now, my friend.

Words cannot express our sorrow on the passing of Bill, a loving father, and our good friend. The world has certainly lost a great man. Bill was an outstanding friend to all who had the fortune to know him. God lends us our friends, our parents and our families to hold and cherish in this life. When He takes them Home, He is not taking them from us, but just bringing them Home to where they belong. Until we meet again, Bill is enjoying his reward in Heaven and will certainly be looking after each of us. What a reunion it will be when we all meet again. I worked out with Bill many years at the "Y" in Wayne & we were very good friends. I don't know if many are aware that Bill was a dedicated runner. Before he got sick he was always staying in shape to participate in "Marathons". I know he participated in a "Triathalon", which is normally 26 miles of running, biking & swimming, In these last few years he had a problem with his feet & it demoralised him because he couldn't do what he liked best, "RUN". I'm going to miss him but I'm sure he'll be running, without pain, in our Lord's Domain. He'll always be in my prayers!
