I was saddened to read of Gloria Bernstein's passing.I came to know Gloria and Joe as neighbors in Teaneck,N.J.,and then as my employers at Joseph's Pharmacy. It was truly an honor to work with them,and to see what good,and generous people they were.
It was Gloria who really got me motivated to pursue college after I graduated High school.I eventually graduated as a Pharmacist and became a Pharmacy owner,which lasted over 35 years! My wife and I raised 3 amazing children and have 5 Grandchildren as well. On one occasion many years ago we ran into Joe and Gloria at a Charlie Browns restaurant parking lot.I told our daughter (with us) that these people were responsible for my attending college! I will be forever grateful to these very special people for the lessons that have been with me forever.
My sincere sympathy to Steven (who I remember at about 7-8 yrs old) and your family.
