Dear Bill and Theresa, Gerry will be missed. We have many fond memories of spending time with Gerry and the family at so many family affairs. He was always ready to regale us with his observations and corny jokes. To tell you the truth, I really enjoyed his corny jokes. As you know, Lois had a particular connection with Gerry. I think it went beyond their shared interest in Star Trek. But that was Gerry. He connected with people at a fundamental level that most don't reach very often. We know he is in a better place where someday we will again be together, perhaps to enjoy one of his special baked treats. Joe and Lois

Dear Teresa, Bill and family, I want to express my deepest sympathy in the loss of your son, Gerard. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I fondly remember when you son was the Confirmation sponsor for Steven.. While in class, preparing for Confirmation, Steven spoke about Gerard and how much he wanted your son to be his sponsor. Of course, Gerard was delighted to be with Steven on his special day. I know how happy and proud Steven was to have your son as his sponsor!! I will keep Gerard and your family in my prayers. I worked at chock with Gerry for 2 years and he was an amazing boss. I enjoyed working with him and talking with him. I'm thankful to have know such a man, who always supported me and influenced me as I began my journey of enlisting in the marines. I will carry a part of Gerry with me as I continue on my journey and I will dearly miss Gerry. Semper Fidelis and thank you Gerry for your endless love and care you showed.
