Dad-
It's been six months since you went into eternal rest. I really miss sitting and talking to you! I know your watching over me and guiding me every step of my life here on Earth. You must so happy now that Mema has gone up to Heaven and is with you!
I love and miss you both very much.
Your Loving Son Chris

As Kris's wife, although my health has made it harder to travel in recent years, I have fond memories of talking to Uncle Paul at the fish fries. I also miss the funny phone calls that I used to get when the Steelers won (and the Cowboys lost.) At the end of those games, the phone would ring, and I would always know who was calling.
Please except my apology for not being able to travel. This is why Kris is afraid to leave me at home alone. Uncle Paul will really be missed!
Sincerely,
Susan Blumish (and Doggie Jeff)

Aunt Joan, Chris and Paula, sorry that I am not able to make it to the funeral from North Carolina. I have excellent memories of Uncle Paul and the wonderful times my brother Tim and I had in the summer of 1969 and staying a month at your house, The highlights include boxing matches that your dad refereed and the wonderful lunches your mother made for us while swimming in your pool everyday. The nights were excellent with the stories that your dad would tell us and being recorded at the same time. I do not know if the recording are still intact. Later on in life he drove me to Fort Dix(Mcguire AF) to spend 3 years in Germany, giving his view on life of being a military man in a foreign country. I am sure I took his advice because I never ended up in the stockade. We had several Fish Fry's in Erie, PA where everybody would reminisce of the great times of the past. We miss you, Uncle Paul, and you are up there with my dad, grand pap, grand ma, Timmy and JR. Love Kris

Uncle Paul's legacy will live on for years. Being a great nephew, his wit and humor continued on with my children, his great great nephews. He will be remembered for being the "Big Sneak" on his trips to Erie, his terrifying of the young ones with his ghost stories and his all around love for every member of his family no matter where in the world they were located. We are all better people for having Uncle Paul in our lives.

Mrs.Blumish, Chris and Paula and all family members, I am very sorry for your loss.
Mr. B.'s had a great, positive influence on me during my early youth growing up in Wayne. His stories of hunting and fishing and life in western Pennsylvania, our summertime backyard boxing matches when the cousins came to visit, and his great appreciation for "real" country music (Johnny Cash and the like) and his all around sense of humor and generally good times are some of the many things I fondly recall from those days which have stayed with me to this day.
Mr. B, thank you for those times and the memories. You were a great man, husband and father, a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of the Valley church where you attended mass weekly and you will be greatly missed!
Your friend, Mike Nevins
