Obituary of Shirley Ann Biber

Shirley Ann Biber, age 69, of Phoenix AZ passed away May 25, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Ms. Biber was born July 1, 1945 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Frank and the late Ann (Tacelt) Biber. She was raised in Paterson, NJ, relocated and lived in Phoenix 35 years. Shirley enjoyed the outdoors, camping, cooking, gardening, and loved to travel. Shirley attended Phoenix College and worked her entire life as insurance claims adjuster. She was a member of North Scottsdale United Methodist Church for many years. Shirley is a lifelong Girl Scout and passionate advocate in scouting that spanned 60 years. She visited all four world Girl Scout centers and received the highest scouting awards. She is survived by her son Michael Biber and his wife Gray and her granddaughter Sophia Biber all of North Carolina, her brother, Frank Biber of New Jersey and her sister June Capron of Vermont. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa, NJ.
