My deepest condolences go to Shirley and her family. I knew her for a brief time, but what an AMAZING woman she was! We were involved with Girl Scouts in NC, then on a whim we were both moving to AZ! My move a little more permanent than hers at the time. She helped so many girls over the years, and I was honored to have stood up for Shirley at the annual Girl Scout meeting in April to accept her 60 year pin. What a beautiful, selfless, caring, compassionate thoughtful, intriguing woman she was. She will be missed....we love you Shirley!
