Love and warmth and laughter is an enduring legacy you've left us with Mom. I feel your love and presents in my heart everyday. We'll gather today at mass - 5 Years since we had to say goodbye- and then dinner to remember all the blessings of the gift of you as our Mom. God really blessed us with you.

I knew this incredible, lovely woman, and for some reason looked this family up as I have been gone for many years.
I worked for a short time with her husband Jim, and taught her beautiful, intelligent daughter, Therese.
It is with sadness that I find her obituary today. With this said, I have no doubts that Marge and Jim are now together again, united in the close bond that I knew them to have. It was beautiful to watch.
To her family I send my heartfelt condolences, prayers and LOVE.
Sincerely,
Joan P. Hopp

Mrs. Ledwith had a special way of warmly welcoming friends into her home. I can remember especially a couple of late night outs with Katherine when going home made me a little nervous, but Mrs. Ledwith readily had me stay the night, with no judgements or questions. She only wanted to keep me safe. Her special kitchen nook was one of my favorite places where she was always willing to talk as well as listen. Her wonderful and loving qualities live on, not only in our memories, but in her children and grandchildren who will forever be influenced by her. I am so sorry for the loss and so blessed to have known her.
You are all in my prayers.

Dear Mr. Ledwith,
You and Mrs. Ledwith hosted me as a college students when I came to visit with Katherine. It was my first time to New York City! And you and Mrs. Ledwith were so kind and welcoming, and I was enchanted by your love for each other and your vibrant family. So much energy and intelligence and loyalty and love: I have never forgotten it. Now Katherine knows my son who is living in NYC, and he knows how remarkable and gernerous the Ledwiths are. How hard it will be for you and all of the family to be physically without your beloved Marge though there is no doubt her incandescent spirit will always light your ways. Much love to all of you--

Mary, Wow, what an incredible obituary! She was certainly an outstanding human being, & you are truly blessed to be her daughter. My heartfelt condolences go out to you & the entire Ledwith family during this time of grief. Your earthly loss is Heaven's gain where you can rest assured she is being embraced by all the Angels and Saints resting in Eternal Peace. I was glad to see that Father Michael Carnevale will be presiding over her Funeral Mass Friday at St. Mary's! Gail & I both wish that we could be there with you, but unfortunately we cannot, but we will surely be with Marge in spirit. Mary, this must be a devastating loss for you personally, & we will continue to keep you in our prayers. She was a true Disciple of Christ in our midst with a gentle soul and kind and blessed aura about her. Peace be with you, Mary. Be relieved to know that your Mom is no longer agonizing in pain from bodily ailments & will be quenched with the Love of God forever! In Christ, Duane & Gail

Mrs. Ledwith was a dear friend of our family since the 1960s, when our mothers noticed each other at St. Mary's Sunday Mass. Both our mothers were from the Midwest and they found in each other a kindred spirit. Over all these years, Mrs. Ledwith has been a steadfast example of the unconditional love of a mother for her children. She has lived a beautiful, meaningful, and successful life that has revolved around her family and friends, and she has reaped the love that she has sown. I am so blessed to have known her.
