Wanted to send my condolences to all the family from relatives in Canada. I am a first cousin of Arthur's. My late Dad & Arthur's Mum were siblings. My Mum is still alive at 104, but does not know us now. Enjoyed seeing Arthur many years ago on his last visit to Kent Co, NB to see where the Ward family grew up. We are so sorry for your loss

Dad,
All through our lives we have people come and go but there are a certain few who you will never forget. Your thoughts are about them when times are sweet and in times of sadness. Arthur, my father-in-law, my dad, I have been blessed and I am wiser because I have met you. I am a man who likes to laugh and I loved your quirky sense of humor. You liked to hear a joke and you liked to tell a joke but your wisdom and your kind words are what I’m going to miss the most. You opened up your heart, your home, and you gave me your daughter’s hand in marriage and when I asked you for her hand you said “What took so long?” I will be there and try to step in your place to help your daughters and your family in any way I can, just like you would. You did a very good job raising your family and you have two wonderful grandchildren and its been my pleasure to see them grow into young men. Now that your gone our lives will change but the memories will last forever. You were a very kind and thoughtful person and all of the people I’ve talked to always said how much they liked you. I will keep you in my heart forever. Arthur Lynds, Art, my father-in-law, my dad, and my friend.
Andrew

Daddy,
I can’t find the words to express how I feel at this time as my heart is empty, but I’m going to give it a try. You have always been a wonderful father, but boy we used to have some pretty good fights too, but I guess most daughters and fathers do. I appreciate all that you did for me over the years and hope that you were always proud of me. Growing up you provided us with a loving home, fun times on vacations, afternoons at the pool, and nights sitting on the patio talking with friends and neighbors. You were a good role model on how to be caring and how to extend a helping hand to others, so its not suprising I’m the same way. Over the last years we have spent so much time together, and without you I’m not sure what I will do with my time. Andrew said I should get a puppy! Life is going to be a lot different without you here. You filled my life and now I’m feeling such a great loss. Please daddy know that I will always love you and will miss you so very much.
Your loving daughter,
Debbie

Uncle Arthur's jovial voice and laugh was always fun to be around. He could tell so many interesting stories and we enjoyed them as he was grilling delicious steak for us. Our family would stop at their house on the way to Massachusetts, and have a delicious meal together. He loved his family and friends and we will miss you so much, Uncle Arthur. Lovingly, Sue
