We are cloae friends with Ms. Juneiman's niece, Susan McKinnon, with whom she shared a home (and felines!) for many years. Because of Agnes' strong feeling and devotion those creatures who "can't speak for themselves," we plan to make a donation in her name to our favorite animal charity.

Mrs. J was a woman of patience and endurance. She was a vivid part of my childhood, as she faithfully picked a group of us up from School #5 during her lunch hour and dropped us off home for lunch. Her ritual stop was a bakery on Union Ave., where she would purchase 2 loaves of freshly baked bread.
One loaf was for her, her son John and husband Milt and the other for the howling, hungry hoard in her car. Never once did she ever yell at us! Her intelligence and zest for learning inspired me to continue with my education and become a teacher. She wrote in my 8th grade graduation book:"Silver and gold may vanish away but a good education will never decay!" Those lines have remained with me. Over the years, I would visit her, many times with my mother, who eventually died at 95 in 2009. Her cordiality, friendly smile and good humor would lift your spirits. Thank you Mrs. J. for BEING in every sense of the word. You will always be remembered and continue to share a special place in my heart!
Hugs forever,
Fran Sansone
