Obituary of Frank Rascio

Frank Rascio, age 98, died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mr. Rascio was born October 25, 1912 in Paterson, the son of the late John Anthony and the late Felicia (Zita) Rascio. Frank lived in Paterson and was employed as a precision grinder at Wrights Aeronautical in Paterson. He established a fruit and vegetable route in the Totowa section of Paterson resulting in the opening of Frank's Market. Frank and his wife Elsie were members of the Madison Avenue Baptist Church in Paterson. He leaves a legacy of compassion and love. His customers rewarded him with their loyalty and respect. Mr. Rascio is survived by his beloved wife of 73 years, Elsie(Bernatovich); his loving children Carl Rascio and Joyce Sponzilli; his cherished grandchildren, Mark, Lauren, Brenda and Gaetano; great-grandchildren, Jarad, Karina, Joshua, Rachel, Nicholas, Jessica and Stefan; great-great grandchildren, Nicholas and Elijah and his dear sister Virginia Crisci. All services are private at the request of the family.
