Obituary of Brad Raymond Marotta
Brad Raymond Marotta, age 36, died Sunday, April 10, 2011 at home in Wayne. Mr. Marotta was born May 8, 1974 in Paterson, the son of William and Janis (Stefanacci) Marotta. He lived in Wayne and was formerly of Clifton and Fair Lawn. Mr. Marotta was the house manager at the Center for Humanistic Change in Bloomingdale, also known as CHCNJ an adult home for people with disabilities. He worked with individuals to integrate them into the community through various sports such as baseball, rollerblading, Special Olympics and the NJ Jackal games. Mr. Marotta was also the creator and founding member of the Happy Club, a crafting club, with the goal of having the group be client run.
Mr. Marotta is survived by his beloved parents William and Janis (Stefanacci); his dear brother William and his wife Joanne Marotta; his cherished nieces, Alexandra and Victoria Marotta and his loving fiancée, Charlene Accinni.
Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.
The funeral will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anne's R.C. Church, 15-05 St. Anne's Rd, Fair Lawn and will be celebrated by Fr. Joseph Doyle.
There will be a private cremation.
