My condolences to the extended McGrievy family. I will always remember Ruth Ann as a tiny dynamo with a smile on her face. She was instrumental in both of my dad's weddings! I can only imagine how much you all will miss her.

Over 200 hundred people said goodbye to my mom at the wake. I know that was only the tip of the iceburg she touched so many lives. I can't begin to tell the world how special my mom was. I hope I can honor her memory by being half the mom she was. Love and miss you.

My condolences to all of the McGrievy family. Brian and I roomed together four years while we were in college and Lenore and I spent many, many "double dates' with Brian and Ruth (Woofy as he called her). Ruth's kind manner and pleasant smile always made the world seem a better place. Lenore and Ruth would occasionally sneak off to visit Brian and me during our Rutgers days. It was always fun! She is remembered fondly at the Cialone house. Her courageous battle, health wise over the years was an inspiration to all who knew her. We share your grief.

Auntie made our neighborhood the place I wanted to move back to with my children. She was a mother to us all! We love her and will miss her terribly. Yet we know she will never be forgotten by all the people whose lives she touched and made better by being there. Thank you to Claire, Billy, Breezy, Mark and Uncle Angelo for sharing her all these years.

We'll always remember Ruthann as one of the most optimistic, bubbly, cheerful people we know. She was a great Mom, sister, friend, wife, grandma, and nurse. Her picture says it all. We will miss her as you will. You have our condolences!

Ruth has been a part of our family for the past 20 years. Since the day Uncle Jr. (Angelo) introduced her, it felt like we knew her forever. She has been to every family event, happy and sad, that we have shared. In the sad times, she offered her warmth, caring and genuine compassion; the happy times, she just made "happier"! She was so appreciative and loved our family/holiday dinners. She referred to them as "yummy" and just that silly word always reminds me of her. Ruth's smile lit up the room and even when she was not well, she always smiled! She is our dear friend and a part of our family. My children adored her! "Aunt" Ruth will be missed by all of us. I told my two five-year old children that Aunt Ruth had to go to Heaven and she is taking care of everyone...She is an Angel; and I truly believe that! We love you, Ruth.. Our prayers go out to her children and grandchildren.
With All Our Love,
Janine, Carmen our children and the Giangerelli/Petretta famiy

I will always remember her driving up Prospect Road in her little green VW Bugs, and piling all of us in it for a ride to school! Will always remember Goosey night, how we would get Claire and Mark out of the house, and she pretended not to know what we were doing, and Halloween, how she would call all the parents up, and say they are all here!! I am feeding them, then sending them off to trick or treat. She was always ready to help out, and give her nursing expertise whenever she could. Prospect Road will miss her dearly. Thanks for the memories!! RIP

Hmmmm, memories. I remember Auntie from my very first memories. She was there as a nurse and sister-in-law when I was born. She was always in my life in a very deep and meaningful way and she is instrumental in any successes I have achieved in my life, by being a role model and wonderful aunt. I have never been cozier than when I was 5 at my aunt's home on a snow day from school. Just remembering makes me feel warm and safe. All my love Auntie...

Heaven has truly recieved an ANGEL today! I can't remember EVER being greeted by anything less than the great smile and piercing blue eyes you see here in this picture. Always so giving of herself and her time. She loved her family and friends and had a huge positive impact on my life. She will be missed but has joined many loved ones who have gone on before her. Now they, get to see that great smile and feel the love she so sincerely exuded. Rest in peace my friend.
