I SO LOVED UNCLE JOHN--HE WAS A PART OF MY LIFE--ALL OF MY LIFE AND I WILL MISS HIM !! I FEEL AS THOUGH HE WAS THE LAST LINK TO MY DAD!! MY FATHER LOVED HIM AND THEY WERE CLOSER THEN BROTHERS!! HE WAS THERE FOR US KIDS WHEN MY DAD DIED !! I WILL ALWAYS LOVE AND MISS HIM !! I SO WISH I COULD BE THERE--BUT I RETURNED HOME TO NORTH CAROLINAFROM NY/NJ ON THE DAY HE DIED. Uncle John, although not my Dad's brother isn't any less an uncle. He and Aunt Lil were a constant presence in our lives when we were growing up. He always had a joke and a smile. He meant very much to our family and we all loved him dearly. He was always there when we needed him. God Bless you Uncle John, I shall miss you.
