His lovely daughter Nancy J Nolan is one of my most dear friends. Her father made her laugh and he loved her. He gave her a wonderful gift; a deep love of Rhode Island and it's beautiful shores.

Unfortunately I never had the pleasure of meeting Richard. I am a colleague of Nancy’s, but more importantly a friend. Richard must have been a wonderful person as he raised one of the greatest people I have ever been blessed to know. Nancy has been like an angel by my side ever since I have met her.
