Obituary of John R. Linstra

John R. Linstra, Sr. went home to be with his Lord on April 28, 20009. He was 91 years old - born in Totowa, NJ, on February 12, 1918, the son of the late Ralph and the late Susie (De Visser). Mr. Linstra lived in Wayne and Sussex County prior to moving to Pine Ridge South, Whiting, NJ seven years ago. He retired from Johanson Mfg. Corp in Boonton. Mr. Linstra survived by his loving wife of seventy years, Marion (Thomas); two sons, John R and Judie of Cleveland OH and Ralph F. and Judy of Lynchburg VA and a daughter B. Joyce of NJ; seven grandchildren: Jeff, Jonathan, Jamie, Scott, Kami (Jones), Bill and David Albert; fourteen great grandchildren and a sister, Mary Ten Kate of Florida. He was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, celebrated by Rev. Larry Ross. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
