Obituary of Edward J. Collora

Edward J. Collora, age 91, died Sunday, April 5, 2009 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Collora was born May 2, 1917 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Salvatore Charles and the late Elvira (Vian) Collora. He lived in Oak Ridge. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was employed by Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, NJ as a Engineer. He is survived by his children; Diane and her husband Robert Irwin , Denise Norman, Ted and his wife Kanda and Gary .Grandchildren; Jamie Roberts, Michele Machere, Robert And Sean Irwin, Christopher,Anthony,Melissa, Anthony and Richard Collora. Great-great grandchildren: Patrick and Lindsey Roberts, Katie,Lauren and Sara Machere, Danielle,Andrew and Cassandra Irwin. He was predeceased by his Wife, Mary E. ( Ewing) and a son, Richard. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 8:30 pm at Moore's Home For Funerals and will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
