Obituary of Phyllis Mildred O'Grady Johnson

Phyllis Johnson (nee O'Grady) died in Wayne on Thursday, April 2, 2009. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Dr. John B. Johnson, Jr. Born in 1925 and raised in Paterson, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. J. Austin O'Grady. Phyllis was educated at College High in Montclair, NJ and Connecticut College in New London, CT, then married and moved to Wayne in 1946. She is mourned and greatly missed by her loving children, Eileen (Ed) Duchini of East Dennis, MA, Nancy (Michael) Lytell of Royal Oak, MD and John B. Johnson, III (Nancy Sisco) of Riverdale, NJ and two adored granddaughters, Colleen (Kevin M.) Schirf of NYC and Emily (Timothy L.) Moulton of Newport, RI Visitation on Friday April 3rd. 3-5 pm & 7-9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held 9:00 a.m. Saturday morning at St. Mary's, Pompton Lakes. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Paterson. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity is welcomed.
