Obituary of Joseph F. Matonak

Joseph F. Matonak, age 84, died Thursday, March 5, 2009 at Naples Community Hospital, Naples, FL. Mr. Matonak was born September 3, 1924 in East Vandergrift, PA the son of the late John and the late Sophie (Stanek) Matonak. He lived in Marco Island and was formerly of Wayne. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Mr. Matonak was the owner of Brookwood Upholsterers in Pompton Lakes and a member of San Marco Catholic Church in Florida. Mr. Matonak is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Anna (Bingham), loving father of Lori and her husband Charley Parisio and the late Donald Matonak; devoted grandfather of Christopher and Katie and dear brother of Elizabeth Gaughan and Ann Hauser Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. The funeral will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
