Obituary of John Edward Frawley
John Edward Frawley, age 91, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Frawley was born July 10, 1922 in Butler, the son of the late Edward A. and the late Rachel (Scanlon) Frawley. He lived in Franklin Lakes and Wayne before moving to Totowa 20 years ago. Mr. Frawley served in the US Navy during World War II and then again in Korea. After working for 30 years as a senior electrician, he retired from PSE&G Company in the 1980's. He was a member of the NRA.
Mr. Frawley is survived by his loving daughter: Lana Lee and her husband Robert Dunkerley; his dear grandchildren, Robert J., Cara, and Ryan and his wife Christine; his cherished great-grandchildren, Darren and Gage; and his brother Tom Frawley. He was predeceased by his wife, Evelyn T. (Presing) in 2011.
Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
The funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 65 Bartholdi Avenue, Butler.
Interment will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Butler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mr. Frawley's name may be made to the Totowa First Aid Squad, 425 Totowa Rd, Totowa, NJ 07512
