Obituary of Carolyn Crosby

Carolyn (Kardel) Crosby, age 85, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Crosby was born July 21, 1923 in East Rutherford, the daughter of the late Joseph E. and the late Dorothea S. (Misman) Kardel. She lived in Wayne and was employed by Trends Newspaper, Wayne as a copy editor for over 20 years. Mrs. Crosby is survived by her loving children: Barbara and her husband Meyer Rosen and Thomas and his wife Dee Crosby; dear grandchildren: Sharyl, Stephen, David, Alyson, Matthew and Kelly and cherished great-grandchildren, Nathan, Madelyn, Zoe, Anya and Jack. Mrs. Crosby was predeceased by her husband Francis. Visiting hours will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview.
