Obituary of Nunziata Calimeri

Nunziata (Carosia) Calimeri, age 85, died Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Paterson. Mrs. Calimeri was born April 13,1923 in Italy,the daughter of the late Vincenzo and the late Giuseppa (Rinaldi) Carosia. She lived in Wayne. She was employed in New York as a Seamstress for many years before retiring and was a member of the ILGWU.Mrs. Calimeri was a member of Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne, She is survived by her husband: Rosario Calimeri, one son: Luigi Stivale, 2 grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 6-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday at 10:00 am at Our Lady Of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be Celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
