Obituary of Frank Latona

Frank Latona, age 74, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at Chilton Memorial Hospital, Pequannock Twsp. Mr. Latona was born May 12, 1934 in Passaic, the son of the late Anthony and the late Mary (Riotto) Latona. He lived in Wayne. Mr. Latona served in the US Army from May 1954 to March 1962. In 1992, he retired from William Paterson University, Wayne, where he was a Campus Police Officer for 20 years. Mr. Latona was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, Wayne. Mr. Latona is survived by his beloved wife Janet (Van Der Jagt); his loving daughter Janice and her husband Anthony Moore, and his sons: Anthony and his wife Connie, Frank and his wife Maribel, Lourens and his wife Bonnie; his devoted grandchildren, April, Frank, Jessica, Lourens, Brielle And Jonathan and dear sister Lillian Moore. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Special Olympics NJ, Area 2, 3 Princess Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
